We’re honored to partner with The Beat Goes On, bringing together an unforgettable experience and a mission that truly matters.

The Beat Goes On is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing assistance to heart transplant patients who are required to travel more than 40 miles from the Christ Hospital, located in Cincinnati, OH. We are committed to offering a comfortable and supportive environment for patients during the challenging times of post-transplant recovery. Our organization aims to alleviate the financial and emotional burdens associated with seeking medical treatment away from home, ensuring that patients can focus on their health and well-being.

Founder of The Beat Goes On, Venita Turner, is a Cincinnati native who was the recipient of a heart transplant on December 8, 2023. Her vision of this non-profit came about after learning of the biggest need of heart transplant patients during her recovery. After much prayer, The Beat Goes On was born. We look forward to serving families who travel to Cincinnati, Ohio, for exceptional heart care.

At Life’s Eyes Leadership, we are humbled and grateful to join forces with The Beat Goes On. Together, we’re not just playing a round of golf—we’re making a difference, honoring heart patients and their families, all while supporting a cause that changes lives.

Can I bring my team to Leader-Chip?

Yes! Leader-Chip is an excellent group outing experience. Some of our customers come back every year to give their team a day on the course.

What will we do at Leader-Chip?

While the exact agenda will change from year to year, the day is typically set up as follows:

Check-In and Welcome - Gather as a group, meet the Life’s Eyes Leadership team, and the other attendees with whom you will spend the day.

Leadership Development - Usually 1 to 2 hours of hands-on learning and discussion with the group on a given subject

Golf Scramble & Lunch - 18-hole golf scramble with lunch provided

Prizes - Team and pin prizes are announced at the conclusion of the golf scramble.

This schedule varies from year to year depending on multiple factors, including weather on the day of the event.

What if I don't golf?

We get it - not everyone loves golf as much as we do!

Not to worry. We, at Life's Eye's Leadership, pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and safe learning atmosphere for new golfers at Leader-Chip.

This event follows a four-person scramble format, which means that on each hole every player will hit from the tee, and then the group picks best shot to play next. Everyone then plays from that spot, and this continues until the ball makes it into the hole.

With this format, new and inexperienced players can rely on the team around them and have some fun along the way!
